Associate Licensed Counselor — Under the supervision of Matt Bunt, LPC-S

I’m a counselor in Birmingham, Alabama with a background in both clinical therapy and spiritual care. I spent over a decade as a hospital chaplain — sitting with people in moments of grief, crisis, and uncertainty. I’m also a therapist at a child advocacy center in Birmingham, supporting children, teens, adults, and families with trauma-informed care that no one should have to carry alone. 

These experiences shape how I show up: grounded, compassionate, unafraid of what hurts. 

I work with adults, teens, children, and couples facing grief, trauma, medical illness, spiritual questions, relational struggles, and the ache of big life transitions. I also support those surviving the long echoes of childhood trauma — whether it’s surfacing now for the first time, or it’s something you’ve carried for years. 

My Approach

I offer a supportive, relational approach that invites you to engage your inner life with honesty, curiosity, and care. 

Our work together creates space to slow down and listen — to explore what’s asking for attention and ready to be tended to. 

We’ll engage relational somatic work (EFIT, EFT), grounded in attachment theory and interpersonal neurobiology with a trauma-informed lens to name the patterns and move toward embodied healing.

My clinical foundation is rooted in attachment-based therapy, with deep respect for how early relationships shape the way we experience ourselves, others, and the world. I believe healing happens in the context of safe, authentic connection.

Sessions are compassionate and collaborative. There’s room here for reflection, insight, and meaningful change — all at your pace.
