Associate Licensed Counselor — Under the supervision of Matt Bunt, LPC-S

I’m a counselor in Birmingham, Alabama with a background in both clinical therapy and spiritual care. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade as a hospital chaplain — sitting with people in moments of grief, crisis, and uncertainty. I’ve also worked as a trauma therapist at a child advocacy center in Birmingham, supporting children, teens, and families through pain no one should have to carry alone. 

These experiences shape how I show up: grounded, compassionate, unafraid of what hurts. 

I work with adults, teens, and couples facing grief, trauma, medical illness, spiritual questions, relational struggles, and the quiet ache of big life transitions. I also support those navigating the long echoes of childhood trauma — whether it’s surfacing now for the first time, or it’s something you’ve carried for years. 

My Approach

I offer a supportive, relational approach that invites you to engage your inner life with honesty, curiosity, and care. 

Our work together creates space to slow down and listen — to explore what’s asking for attention and ready to be tended to. 

We’ll engage relational somatic work (EFIT, EFT), grounded in attachment theory and interpersonal neurobiology, to name the patterns and move toward embodied healing.

My clinical foundation is rooted in attachment-based therapy, with deep respect for how early relationships shape the way we experience ourselves, others, and the world. I believe healing happens in the context of safe, authentic connection — and that you are the expert of your own story. 

Sessions are compassionate and collaborative. There’s room here for reflection, insight, and meaningful change — all at your pace.
